Trend: White Pumps For Fall

The internets are abuzz with talk of #nyfw, but I'm not quite ready to think about Spring 2014 fashion.  I'm still fantasizing about the day it will be cold enough to wear the Fall trends!  Here's one to try: white pumps with winter clothes!

I know, I know-- it breaks the silly "no white after Labor Day" rule that bans all white clothing and ESPECIALLY white shoes.  Undaunted by outdated fashion dogma, I found the perfect pointy-toed pumps at Zara for $50- the White Pointed Court Shoe:

I was wandering around Kuhl-Linscomb the other day when I came across a new makeup line, RMS Beauty, by makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift.  The line is organic and incorporates coconut oil for its antibacterial properties and to protect skin against free radical damage.

Beauty + Style = White Nails + Leopard Print

My latest beauty craving?  Mod white nails!  So for my latest round of gel/shellac, I went with IBD Just Gel Polish in Whipped Creme.  Basically this is just the opaque white color that River Oaks Nail Spa uses for the white tip in french manicures.  FYI, I've found that the IBD brand tends to last longer on my nails than the CND Shellac or OPI Gel Color brands.
